I have 1 space on a custom tour to Botswana from 30 November to 12 December 2024. The tour is going ahead with the 3 current guests so it is a guaranteed departure and it’s the last space on any of my tours for 2024.
The tour is timed to enjoy the early part of the green season, when the rains have started to fall, the grass is short and green and wildlife numbers remain concentrated. The skies will be clear, with epic cloud build-ups, and the onset of summer will bring all the birds into their breeding finery. Since much of Botswana’s wildlife estates are based on Kalahari sand, access to most areas will be unaffected by the arrival of rainy season.
Kwando Safaris, who have camps across Botswana’s best wildlife areas. We start at Tau Camp in the Kalahari, followed by Lebala, along the Kwando river, and then finish with Mma Dinare & Splash Camp in the Delta. 12 nights in total, with a private vehicle throughout, and taking advantage of the lower rates that shoulder season offers.
